The Alliance for Cyber Security is an initiative of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) founded in cooperation with the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM) for building up a comprehensive knowledge base and supporting exchange of information and experience.
The Automotive Cluster of East Germany (ACOD) is an initiative of the states for the sustainable development of the automobile industry in East Germany. It encompasses the active automobile manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, research institutes, associations and other institutions in the five German states - Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.
The IT Security Association Germany (TeleTrusT) is a widespread competence network for IT security comprising members from industry, administration, consultancy and research as well as national and international partner organizations with similar objectives. TeleTrusT provides interdisciplinary for a for IT security experts and facilitates information exchange between vendors, users, researchers and authorities. TeleTrusT comments on technical, political and legal issues related to IT security and is organizer of events and conferences.
The VDI (Association of German Engineers) is a technical and scientific association. It is the biggest technical and scientifical association in german with about 155.000 individual members. More than 12.000 voluntary experts elaborate every year the newest insights for the facilitation of the technological standpoint of Germany.
VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Mechanical Engineering Industry Association) represents more than 3,200 mostly medium-sized companies in the capital goods industry, making it the largest industry association in Europe. The association represents the shared financial, technical and scientific interests of the mechanical engineering industry, especially with respect to national and international authorities and business groups.
