Rhebo attends at IEC 62443 Week | June, 13. - 17.

From 13th to 17th June 2022 the IEC 62443 Week will take place. This year again in presence. The venue hosting the event is Edinburgh, UK.

IEC 62443 is a set of standards that provide power system operators with a robust framework for managing and mitigating safety vulnerabilities in their industrial control systems. The implementation of IEC 62443 is now everyone's responsibility and must be understood and embraced by power system operators, technology suppliers and system integrators alike to fully realize its benefits.

This week-long event provides a thorough examination of IEC 62443 concepts, frameworks, and controls with an in-depth look at cybersecurity risks to operations. The Fundamentals of IEC 62443 workshop on the first day of the event will help attendees understand the essential building blocks of the standard and how they can be applied in their own environment. The three-day main conference features a series of case studies on practical applications of the standard in conjunction with ISO 27001 in a wide range of power system environments. The final day of the event provides a high-octane briefing on how the standard can be used to drive aggressive cybersecurity strategies in the OT environment.

By the end of this week-long event, power grid cybersecurity leaders will be able to adopt IEC 62443 as part of their broader security management system, working more systematically and cost-effectively to minimize their security risks and more easily achieve their security goals.

Sales Manager Richard Stüber will give a 15-minute panel presentation. Location and time are not yet fixed - but will be announced shortly.
