Klaus Mochalski, founder of German OT cybersecurity solution provider Rhebo, leaves as CEO for personal reasons. He will be succeeded by Todd Wiedman, Chief Security Officer at parent company Landis+Gyr. The change comes amid increasing internationalization of the Rhebo portfolio. Klaus Mochalski will continue to serve as advisor for Rhebo.
“After nearly ten exciting years, which saw Rhebo growing from an ambitious startup to a well-established OT security provider in the German and European markets as part of the Landis+Gyr family, it is time for a time-out,” Klaus Mochalski explained his departure. “I fully trust Todd as well as the Rhebo and Landis+Gyr team to continue the successful path of providing OT security made simple to critical infrastructure providers and expand our service to the international markets, especially the Americas.” While Klaus Mochalski leaves Rhebo as CEO to focus on his family, he will continue to work as an advisor to the company and will ensure smooth transition to his successor Todd Wiedman.
Todd Wiedman will take over responsibility as CEO with immediate effect. The experienced cybersecurity executive, who also serves as CSO for Landis+Gyr, brings a demonstrated history of building and maturing cyber & information security programs. Before joining Landis+Gyr, Todd Wiedman was Director of Corporate Security at Dell SecureWorks and Senior IT Security Manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises.
“On behalf of the Rhebo and Landis+Gyr Leadership Teams, I thank Klaus for his strong and committed leadership,” said Todd Wiedmann. “Klaus’ vision and courage as founder and CEO has made Rhebo a successful OT security provider in the German and European market. He made Rhebo a highly valued partner for critical infrastructure and industry customers focusing on powerful yet simple end-to-end OT cybersecurity solutions as well as outstanding customer services and support.”
Todd Wiedman will continue Rhebo’s internationalization program started in 2021 to provide comprehensive OT monitoring with anomaly detection to customers in Europe and North America.
