On April 23, the Bundestag passed the updated IT Security Act (ITSiG 2.0). Energy suppliers (EVU) must use this to set up systems for attack detection. These systems should not only continuously identify and avoid threats, but should also secure the communication technology as comprehensively as possible. In addition to IT, security systems must therefore also protect telecontrol and network control technology.
