Cyber terrorism
Cyber terrorism summarizes all terrorist acts which are conducted by means of internet technology. The term is intensively discussed since the boundaries between unpolitical criminal acts, ideologically motivated actions and governmentally supported (secret) warfare are rather diluted. In general, cyber terrorism gets divided into two main categories: the »pure« category uses information technology to conducted virtual attacks. The second category typically uses IT to enhance, facilitate or propagate real-world terrorist actions.
