Leipzig, May 8, 2018 - The Leipzig-based technology company Rhebo GmbH and T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH from Dresden have concluded an association agreement for close cooperation. With the industrial anomaly detection from Rhebo, the Telekom subsidiary is expanding its portfolio for future-proof, efficient technologies in Industry 4.0, IoT and network security. This underscores T-Systems Multimedia Solutions' strategy to reliably accompany the digitization of the industry as a professional for digital solutions.

In a first step, the industrial anomaly detection Rhebo Industrial Protector was deployed by T-Systems Multimedia Solutions into the Industry 4.0 Model Factory of the HTW Dresden as well as in a sample packaging line from Festo Didactic. In the Industry 4.0 model factory, the Dresden University of Applied Sciences researches and evaluates IoT solutions in the manufacturing environment. Both installations will be used by T-Systems Multimedia Solutions as a showroom to introduce their customers to the new technologies and challenges of Industry 4.0.

Rhebo Industrial Protector - Seamless ICS transparency in real time
Rhebo Industrial Protector continuously monitors the control communication including the switchgear, telecontrol and network control technology. All data packets are decoded at the content level, and any suspicious activity is reported in real-time. Even deviating operation processes, which can lead to system failures, like network problems and machine malfunctions are reliably detected, evaluated in their risk and reported. The administration retains complete control over the system functionality. All data about suspicious operations (including metadata and package contents) are stored. This allows a detailed analysis of each suspicious activity. Filter rules (filter policies) and universal interfaces also make it possible to integrate Industrial Protector as a data source for existing backend systems such as SAP, MES and firewalls to implement a big data strategy and a comprehensive monitoring concept.
