Industrial espionage

In comparison to economic espionage, industrial espionage describes illegal activities to spy on know-how, products and intelligence of companies by other commercial corporations. According to a study by the security company Corporate Trust, about 21 % of German companies were damaged by at least one case of espionage in 2012.
